We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client based in Nottingham that will cover the East Midlands region. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding the market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, with a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with clients. You will work closely with the marketing department to ensure alignment with strategic goals and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations at events, showcasing our clients products and services.
• Conduct client meetings to better understand their needs and requirements
• Pitch the business proposition and services to prospective new clients

Experience

• Proven experience in business development or a similar role
• Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Presentation skills and ability to pitch services at events
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset for problem-solving.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities

My client offer a competitive basic salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience and performance related bonus.

Initially this is a 2 year contract but could be significantly longer.
